Three aspects of Taichi太极拳的3个方面

The study of tai chi chuan primarily involves three aspects太极拳的学习主要涉及3个方面:
Health: An unhealthy or otherwise uncomfortable person may find it difficult to meditate to a state of calmness or to use tai chi as a martial art. Tai chi's health training therefore concentrates on relieving the physical effects of stress on the body and mind. For those focused on tai chi's martial application, good physical fitness is an important step towards effective
self-defense.
健康:一位不健康的人,或者一位正在生病的人或许发现通过沉思来达到安静的状态,或者把太极当做武术来练是非常困难的。因此,太极的健康训练强调的是释放身体和精神压力这样的效果。对于强调太极的武术作用的人来说,保持好的身体状态对于有效的自卫来说是非常关键的。
Meditation: The focus and calmness cultivated by the meditative aspect of tai chi is seen as necessary in maintaining optimum health (in the sense of relieving stress and maintaining
homeostasis) and in application of the form as a soft style martial art.
冥想:思想集中和心情平和,主要来自于太极的冥想,而这正是维持最佳健康状态所必须的(从释放压力和维持体内平衡意义上来说),并且能应用到轻柔风格的武术中去。
Martial art: The ability to use tai chi as a form of
self-defense in combat is the test of a student's understanding of the art. Tai chi chuan martially is the study of appropriate change in response to outside forces; the study of yielding and "sticking" to an incoming attack rather than attempting to meet it with opposing force[8]. The use of tai chi as a martial art is quite challenging and requires a great deal of training.[9]
武术:能把太极应用到格斗中自卫中的能力可以检测学生对武术的理解力。从格斗角度讲,在对外力做出反映时,太极拳学习的是如何适应这种变化的力;太极拳讲的是如何化解外力,而不是去用相反的力去对抗它。把太极拳作为武术来应用是非常有挑战性的,它需要经过大量的锻炼。
Tai chi chuan is an
internalChinese martial art often practiced for health reasons. Tai chi is typically practiced for a variety of other personal reasons: its hard and soft martial art technique, demonstration competitions, health and longevity. Consequently, a multitude of training forms exist, both traditional and modern, which correspond to those aims. Some of tai chi chuan's training forms are well known to Westerners as the slow motion routines that groups of people practice together every morning in parks around the world, particularly in China. Today, tai chi has spread worldwide. Most modern styles of tai chi trace their development to at least one of the five traditional schools: Chen, Yang, Wu/Hao, Wu and Sun
太极拳是中国正宗内家武术,通常情况下锻炼的目的是为了健康。另外,练太极还有其他的原因:练习刚柔相继的技击技术、实战、健康和长寿等等。因此,出于不同的目的,相应会有不同的锻炼方法,例如传统和现代。太极拳的锻炼方法使西方人认为它是一种很缓慢的动作套路,因此,我门经常看到一群群的人在花园里聚集在一起练习太极拳,特别是在中国。当今,太极拳已经在世界各地普及。太极拳现代风格套路发展至少起源于五种传统套路之一:陈式、杨式、吴式、孙式、武式。
